Dr. Jeffrey J. Albright, DC, DAAMLP, CBIST

Dr. Albright has completed more than 750 hours of advanced postgraduate education in clinical and functional neuroscience, brain injury, neurorehabilitation, functional and integrative medicine, and related disciplines. His training includes the Carrick Institute's postgraduate Clinical Neuroscience curriculum, extensive advanced study in concussion and traumatic brain injury, vestibular and oculomotor disorders, neurological examination and localization, neuroplasticity, neurodegenerative disorders, diagnostic imaging, and rehabilitation.

His work in traumatic injury extends beyond neurological assessment. Dr. Albright has advanced training in whiplash biomechanics and brain traumatology, cervical ligament injury and alteration of motion segment integrity, crash investigation and event data recorder analysis, injury causation, impairment, and medical-legal documentation. This combination allows neurological findings to be considered within the biomechanical circumstances of an injury rather than separated from the forces and mechanisms that produced it.

For attorneys and healthcare professionals, Dr. Albright provides consultation involving complex injury cases, concussion and neurological findings, injury causation, medical records and imaging, treatment and rehabilitation, medical necessity, and objective documentation. His role is to translate complicated clinical and scientific information into clear, clinically supportable conclusions that can be understood by patients, providers, attorneys, and other professionals involved in a case.

Dr. Albright's clinical interests also include the interaction between neurological function and metabolic health, including autonomic regulation, inflammation, nutrition, sleep, exercise, and other physiological factors that may influence neurological function and recovery. These principles allow functional and integrative medicine strategies to complement neurological rehabilitation when clinically appropriate.

A growing focus of his work is the development of technology-assisted neurological care that can extend beyond the physical clinic. Through telehealth, remote assessment, digital rehabilitation, and remote therapeutic monitoring, patients can complete selected neurological and functional assessments from home, participate in individualized rehabilitation programs, and have progress measured longitudinally rather than relying solely on periodic office examinations.

Dr. Albright serves as Adjunct Clinical Faculty and a Community-Based Internship Supervisor at Northwestern Health Sciences University and as an instructor with the University of Utah School of Medicine's WildMedU program. His teaching interests include clinical neuroscience, concussion and traumatic brain injury, neurological examination and localization, vestibular and oculomotor rehabilitation, whiplash biomechanics, medical-legal documentation, and the application of emerging technology to neurological rehabilitation.

His professional work centers on a practical objective: improving the evaluation, documentation, and rehabilitation of complex neurological and traumatic injuries by integrating clinical neuroscience, biomechanics, objective measurement, and individualized care.
